Organ notes call me to wake,
open my salt-crusted eyes to see.
From sandy beds, I rise,
to see the opening of a blood-red sky.
I am Calypso,
goddess of the tides.
As heartless and as tameless
as I want to be.
Cut out my heart and use it,
I'll take yours and abuse it.
Only one man could tame me,
but he could not hold onto me.
I have power to make men weep!
I send the crashing waves to sink
men down deep into my sleep.
Dreams filled with storms and skies...
Lock my heart into a chest,
deep deep within my vest.
My heart is not free to give away,
